Yujing‘s Music and Creation

Yujing

Yujing Cui is a Christchurch-based independent musician, songwriter and producer. Originally from China, she has worked as a performer and collaborator on live shows and album productions. As a multi-instrumentalist with a background in music production, Yujing is deeply influenced by the Chinese independent music scene as well as folk and singer-songwriter traditions.

About this album

I self-produced the album The Third Drawer, a space revealed to me by a black cat from a dream. Inside this space, I placed my observations, thoughts and feelings about the fast-changing world we all live in.
